Legislator Jay Schneiderman, I-Montauk, presented the document to the village trustees at the beach, which is next to the , another asset that the county is considering handing over to the village.
Schneiderman sponsored the resolution that authorized the transfer, which was adopted with a 17-1 vote on March 13 and signed by Bellone March 27.
