After coming out of Hurricane Sandy largely unscathed, Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor is now a dropoff center for bottled water and nonperishable food items for storm victims in hard hit areas.
Donations can be dropped off at the theater between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily this week, and as needed going forward, according to Bay Street.
A number of other local businesses and nonprofits are pitching in as well.

The Southampton Chamber of Commerce is collecting gently used cold-weather clothing for adults and children, nonperishable food items, garbage bags, rubber gloves and baby wipes.
Therapy Clothing in Southampton Village is collecting flashlights, batteries, cleaning supplies, nonperishable food, baby food, bottles, formula and wipes.

B. East Fitness Studio in Amagansett is putting on a 60-minute spin class Thursday at 5:30 p.m. to collect donations such as nonperishable food items with pop-tops, baby supplies, candles, matches, lighters, pet supplies and toiletries.
A benefit concert is planned Saturday at LTV Studios in Wainscott at 7 p.m., with performances by local musicians, for $20.
Town & County Real Estate offices are collecting clothing and soft goods through Nov. 23.
