A small casino could open in a former Estée Lauder warehouse west of the property while the parcel is developed for a larger facility, according to Newsday. Yes they deserve it and it will bring more jobs not only for the Shinnecock people but for the locals in that area as well

Yes, anyplace but Southampton Town where we don't have the roads for it. Even better if the casino gets a rail stop on the main line LIRR and the Manorville/Eastport ROW is restored in order to connect the Casino to the South fork, as well as connect the 2 forks by rail. In fact, it should be a condition that the Shinnecocks pay for the upgraded rail service (over time) as they will benefit.

Vis Southampton Patch's Facebook page, we received these comments Wendy said "the ol Belmont race track is better more access to it then Yaphank" Rose said, "Well, I still foresee a LIE traffic jam either way with casino's out there on the Island. However, Yephank is much better than Southampton or Shinnecock. Keep it out of the Hamptons!" Nathen said, "They should construct it in Hampton Bays... lol"

They should construct it in front of Nathen's driveway.

No Casino UNTIL access issues resolved. We do not need anymore traffic on our roads, Casino should be rail accessible ONLY
