3 Years After Incident With Giuliani, Filmmaker Sues Southampton Town

John McCluskey is alleging character defamation, conspiracy, and false arrest, according to a 'Newsday' article.

Following an incident just more than three years ago with former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, a documentary filmmaker and author has sued Southampton Town, alleging false arrest, defamation of character, and conspiracy, according to a Newsday article.

John McCluskey was arrested on harassment charges — which were later dismissed — in May of 2009 after Giuliani said he was threatened by McCluskey in Bridgehampton.

The two have a past, as McCluskey claims during his tenure as a prosecutor in Manhattan, Giuliani "falsely charged, harassed and relentlessly persecuted" him and his communications company, Arden Communications.
