The power struggle will start, now that there's big money coming to the Res. I hope the tribe can deal with it. Otherwise, given their love for shooting guns, that place won't be safe for men, women or children to live. Good luck and stay tuned.

The over arching goal is to remove all Indian sovereignty from land. Why wait for the bloodlines to die off or keep inheriting the grandfathering laws the nations have submitted themselves to. It is a masterful move, based on lucrative deals, but ultimately the results should have the land under private control and a tax haven for those who can take advantage of the laws. What a shame, that money can by your birthright, the only worry now is to watch out for the incentive to have a casino there to be a worthless investment. After all their are three more in the pipeline, this deal is just what is called a loss leader but a masterful move on some slow thinking greedy people who would in reality sell their mothers and birthright for some fun times today.
