National Media Gun Agenda

Double standard media is at it again.

I was made aware today that 2 days after the Sandy Hook shooting a man shot his ex-girlfriend in a restaraunt in San Antonio, Texas. While he attacked her the patrons ran out of the building and into the theater next door. After he killed her he headed into the theater shooting at anything and everything while people hid throughout the theater.

Why was this not on the news nationally? Because in the theater was an off-duty sheriff. SHE shot him 4 times before he could kill again. Had they reported the FACT that a gun saved lives. It would have taken the air out of their exploitation of the suffering of innocent people.

Oh , the officer is receiving a medal from her community this week for her bravery and thoughtless act.

Why was this hero not nationally recognized?

Things that make you go hmmm.....

"Even if we agree that the Second Amendment forbids the government to "infringe" the right to "keep and bear arms," that does not mean that the government cannot reasonably regulate the manufacture, sale, ownership and possession of firearms. Indeed, this is precisely what Justice Scalia said in his opinion for the Court in Heller. It is time for opponents of gun control to stop mindlessly shouting "The Second Amendment!!" as if that ends the discussion. It does not. Just as there is no First Amendment right to falsely yell fire in a crowded theatre, there is no Second Amendment right to carry an AK-47 there. And that is only the beginning of what the Second Amendment does not guarantee."

"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms... disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson's "Commonplace Book," 1774-1776, quoting from On Crimes and Punishment, by criminologist Cesare Beccaria, 1764

Hah! Hey, preliar, going back to 1774 for a quote on gun laws is like going back to 1120 for a quote on brain surgery. You are completely clueless.

You really don't like any of our past presidents do you.
