Thoughts for Thursday

Is everyone looking forward to the Taste of Tuckahoe as much as I am? All of my favorite food places together in ONE place?? It's my kind of heaven, folks. As the countdown continues, I will try to spotlight a few places a day to get all of you excited (and hungry!). First two up are Edgewater Restaurant http://edgewaterrestaurant.com and The Golden Pear Cafe http://goldenpearcafe.com/. Edgewater is located in Hampton Bays and has an amazing view of the Shinnecock Bay AND food and drinks to die for. The Golden Pear Cafe has multiple locations in the Hamptons, but my specific store is the Southampton one, where there is ALWAYS an array of delicious muffins, cookies, scones as well as soups, salads, sandwiches, and other lunch specials. They have a "lite" menu there as well, for when I want to try to refrain from scarfing down everything in sight, or "sharing" my kids treats. I am thrilled that both Edgewater and The Golden Pear will be at the Taste of Tuckahoe this year. YUM!
