Topping Rose House's Hotel to Open in May

The restaurant has been open for a few months, but now the hotel portion of Topping Rose House will make its debut.

Tom Colicchio's Topping Rose House, a restaurant and hotel in Bridgehampton, is opening its doors to overnight guests for the first time on May 2.

In addition to being the chef, Colicchio, a winner of five James Beard Foundation awards and head judge on Bravo's "Top Chef," is the operator of Topping Rose House. It is owned by Bill Campbell and Simon Critchell.

Pradeep Raman, an India-native who studied hospitality management in Switzerland and Cornell University, has joined Topping Rose House as the general manager, according to a statement from the business. Raman formerly worked as a senior vice president of fine dining at Wynn Las Vegas and as general manager of Avalon, a Beverly Hills luxury hotel.

The Topping Rose House is an 1852 Greek Revival mansion that was completely rehabilitated during late 2011 and into the middle of 2012, with an addition put on. Located at the northeast corner of Montauk Highway and the Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike, it was formerly known as the Bull's Head Inn.

In addition to the hotel and restaurant, Topping Rose House is still adding on cottages and studios, a spa, pool and event space.
