Micah Schlendorf helms Hamptons Visitors Council.

The Hamptons Visitors Council, a coalition of the six chambers of commerce in Southampton Town, has chosen its board of directors, and Micah Schlendorf has been named chairman.

Schlendorf is the president of the Southampton Chamber of Commerce and a vice president and East Hampton Pantigo branch manager at Suffolk County National Bank.

The Hamptons Visitors Council, founded on 1991, helps promote tourism and economic development, Schlendorf said in a statement. He said the newly elected board of directors will revitalize and reorganize the council.
