Southampton Business Alliance Names Ellen Cea to Board

The Southampton Business Alliance has named Ellen Cea to its board of directors said President of the Alliance, Aram Terchunian. Cea is Director of Tenant and Community Development at Rechler Equity Partners, Long Island’s largest commercial real estate company.

The Southampton Business Alliance was founded more than 20 years ago. Its mission is to promote and achieve an acceptable balance between the environmental, economic, and social needs of the Town of Southampton. The Alliance’s advocacy work continues to be a strong voice in the decision-making process of the various regulatory agencies affecting the Town.

“We are pleased and honored to welcome Ellen to our board,” said Terchunian.  “She and Rechler Equity Partners are generous supporters of the Southampton Business Alliance and are spearheading one of the most exciting and ambitious projects in the Town of Southampton—the development of the Hampton Business District at Gabreski.  I’m confident Ellen’s enthusiasm and business knowledge will make a real difference on the board and throughout our organization.”

At Rechler Equity Partners, Cea’s primary focus is to oversee marketing and tenant development at the 55-acre, state-of-the-art Hampton Business District, which recently broke ground at Gabreski Airport in Westhampton Beach.  When completed, the project will total over 440,000 square feet in nine buildings with office space ranging from 1,333 square feet up to 100,000 square feet.

“On behalf of everyone at Rechler Equity Partners,” Cea said, “I wish to thank the Southampton Business Alliance for naming me to its board and for maintaining such an important role as a non-partisan advocate for the Southampton business community.”

Before joining Rechler Equity, Cea spent two years with Suffolk County Economic Development assisting with site development at County-owned Gabreski Airport as it transitioned into a business and technology park.  Prior positions included Director of Business Development for Beigelman, Feiner & Feldman P.C. (New York, NY) and Business Development Manager at the Wall Street office of Pinkerton Consulting and Investigations, where she provided due diligence services for law firms and investment banking firms in mergers and acquisitions.  She has also served as a campaign coordinator on several national and local elections, including helping to establish the NYS office for the Perot for President Petition Committee.

Cea, who resides in Quogue, New York, attended Fordham University/CUNY, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree before earning her Masters in Criminal Justice.
