Sag Harbor Ice Cream Business Expands
Joe and Liza Tremblay look to get their ice cream brand in store freezers around the East End, according to the Sag Harbor Express.
Joe and Liza’s Ice Cream, the eponymous brand of premium ice cream from the owners of Bay Burger in Sag Harbor, Joe and Liza Tremblay, is getting its own space after sharing a kitchen with the burger joint on the Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike since 2007, The Sag Harbor Express reports.
The new kitchen will be at a former garage next door to Bay Burger, according to The Express, so the Trembleys won't have to go far to switch between flipping burgers and churning ice cream.
Joeandlizas.com states that their product is made in small batches and promises "the richest ice cream you've ever tasted." It is sold in pints and 1.3 gallon bulk containers. The Express reports that the Trembleys hope the new facility will allow them to keep up with demand and get into the wholesale business.
