is located behind the 71 Hill Street complex by Jobs and Windmill lanes. The restaurant, which has received excellent reviews from The New York Times, Zagat and Newsday, is known for its wine dinners. On Sundays, customers can bring their own wine without paying a corkage fee. The restaurant also offers classes led by its chef, Doug Gulija, a Johnson & Wales graduate who has trained in France. The Plaza specializes in seafood and "new American" cuisine, and the wine list is exclusively local and domestic. Before their meal, diners are offered a free amuse bouche, a sampling of one of Gulija's dishes in progress.

  • The Plaza Cafe is a fine establishment with very good food and the atmosphere is amazing. To complement it all is the fine staff they have with the utmost professionalism, I would recommend to any one that enjoys fine dining.
