Readers' Choice: Best Sporting Goods Store

With spring here, locals are participating in a variety of sports. But where do you go to get your needed supplies?

April is here and kids across Southampton are playing their favorite outdoor sports. While youngsters need cleats, bats, lacrosse sticks and gloves, the warm weather also brings out adult surfers, equestrians, runners, cyclists and anglers. This week, Patch wants to know what sporting goods store you trust to buy your needed gear.

Readers’ Choice is a weekly feature where we ask you — our readers — to tell us your top picks of the businesses and local attractions that get your loyalty.

Each Monday we’ll list our nominees. Did we leave your go-to spot off the list? Go ahead and add it in comments.

On Friday we’ll tabulate all of the poll votes, comments, recent directory reviews and emails and crown a Readers' Choice. Please only vote once in the poll, because any attempt to game the results could end up in your favorite businesses being disqualified.

Here are our nominees:

• , Sag Harbor
• , Water Mill
• , Southampton Village
• , Bridgehampton

Maud, Thanks for the info. I looked it up online. Very scary stuff. The Town of Southampton isRead More playing with fire with plans for Sustainability. Just another word for Agenda 21. What fools would want to go along with this scam? Guess they want to rule our lives just like the U.N. wants to do with our property rights, food, and fuel.

Firstly, Maude, it is not Sid "Viscious" it is Sid "Viscuous" - look it up.Read More Secondly, all you tinfoil-hat wearing science deniers need to wake the heck up: "STOCKHOLM -- The World Bank says it will increasingly view its efforts to help developing countries fight poverty through a "climate lens." In a report released Wednesday, the international lending institution warned that heat waves, rising seas, more severe storms and other impacts of climate change will trap millions of people in poverty." As a result, the Washington-based bank said it is stepping up support for efforts to curb climate change and to help the world adapt to it. "Urgent action is needed to not only reduce greenhouse gas emissions, but also to help countries prepare for a world of dramatic climate change and weather extremes," World Bank President Jim Yong Kim said in a statement."
