New Shops Pop Up on Main, Jobs

Stores open in Southampton Village in time for Memorial Day weekend, some just for the summer and others to stay year round.

On Friday — the start of Memorial Day weekend — several new shops opened for the first time in Southampton Village, capitalizing on the holiday crowds.

Some businesses are summer pop-ups, that will close shortly after Labor Day, but others expect to remain open year round, joining the fabric of the village business district.

Many of the shops that opened this spring on Main Street and Jobs Lane carry clothing and accessories, but there are new places for home decor and furniture as well.
