Hamptons Mobile Detailing Giving to Disaster Relief Efforts

Auto detailing service will donate 50 percent of the retail price to American Red Cross Disaster Relief through February.

In the wake of Superstorm Sandy, Southampton business Hamptons Mobile Auto Detailing and Car Wash has been inspired to aid the American Red Cross' disaster relief efforts.

The auto detailing company has announced that from November through February, in the "Detailing for Disaster Relief Campaign," half of the retail price of every detailing service will be donated to the Red Cross.

Hamptons Mobile Detailing employees travel throughout Southampton, East Hampton, Westhampton, the North Fork, Riverhead and Manorville to bring auto detailing services to their customers.

“Every time we detail your vehicle, you are donating to the effort,” said Robert Brandt, the owner of Hamptons Mobile Detailing. “We encourage businesses and consumers to work together like this, where companies promote charitable causes and customers recognize the good they can do by supporting them.”

Brandt said it is important that everyone pitch in, in the face of disaster, especially those lucky enough to get through it unscathed. “We must all remind ourselves that it could have been us who were displaced, lost everything and needing the relief that is provided by The American Red Cross and its wonderful volunteers,” he said.
