It's time for your Great Escape, whether it's on your own, with your significant other, or with a few of your equally-stressed pals. Check back here each week, as we'll tell you about one great idea to give you a much deserved break.
This is the last weekend for the 2011 Long Island Culture and Wine Winterfest, so what better weekend to choose for your Great Escape?
"Jazz on the Vine" is this year's theme, as a plethora of talented musicians team up with vineyards, winery tasting rooms, restaurants and other cultural venues to offer jazz performances that will surely brighten those end-of-winter doldrums.
A mere $10 gets you in to any of the great live music events taking place on the North Fork and your $10 admission even includes a glass of wine. Choose from Saturday or Sunday events this week at the following venues:
