On August 7 Shinnecock Tribal Citizen Staysea Lee Hutchings and her of 10-year-old daughter, Go-Gi-Sgk, lost their home and all of their belongings in a devastating house fire.
However, in what must be a karmic act of kindness for Staysea’s lifetime of humble and kind acts, a stranger has offered to donate to her a house!
Pending the red-tape of permits and being able to raise some $15 to $20K for the roughly 7-mile move—notwithstanding any necessary structural adjustments—Staysea’s supportive network of friends and family hope to meet this challenge in time for Staysea and Nunah to have a home by Christmas.
Please remember: every dollar counts! If you can't make the party... consider donating thru www.PeoplesFestival.org
