2011 Hanukah Festivities

Temple Adas Israel will celebrate Hanukah with the lighting of the first candle on Dec. 20 at 5 p.m. Traditional Hanukah fare, latkes, and soufganiyot (jelly doughnuts) will be served. Dreidle games, traditional Hanukah songs with music by accordionist Barry Glick, will also provide entertainment. Temple Board member Jonathan Nash Glynn, who is also the founder of the Wings Over Haiti charity, will be reading from the new children’s book Lily in the Sky With Kindness.
