A real estate listing is up for the East End's largest vineyard – but nobody is going anywhere anytime soon.

While an online listing for Pindar Vineyards shows the 500 acres are up for sale, without a listing price, Newsday reported on Tuesday that an offer of $65 million might buy the vineyard.

"We would entertain offers. We would be dumb if we didn't," said Pindar Damianos. "But it's not like we're going anywhere. There is nothing on the table. No papers to be signed."

After Superstorm Sandy destroyed his Oceanside home, florist and event decorator Mark Masone relocated his family to East Hampton, but he kept his nearly 20-year-old Oceanside business Flowers by Topaz open — and now, he's opened a second location, in Southampton Village.

Like many florists, Flowers by Topaz carried vases and small gifts, but it also has many offerings one wouldn't typically expect to find when shopping for flowers, such as paintings, teddy bears and incense.  For the kids — and the adult with a sweet tooth — there is a counter with loose candy for sale, from gummy sharks to pretzel sticks dipped in chocolate. There are many wine-related products, like bottle stoppers, wine racks, and stakes that can be stuck in the ground to hold bottles and glasses at a picnic.

EAST HAMPTON

Cedar Point Mom and Pop: A Camper's Delight for 3 Decades

For 31 years, Joe and Mary Ann Kaelin have spent summers at Cedar Point County Park in East Hampton, but not just as campers.

The Kaelins run the Cedar Point General Store, where campers can find practically anything they need during their stay, and where residents of the Northwest Woods go for their morning coffee and paper.

Joe mans the grill most of the time, cooking up breakfast, lunch and dinner orders, while Mary Ann offers mini math lessons to kids looking to make change for the arcade games that still only cost a quarter.

New Restaurant to Bring Simple Seafood Dishes to Hampton Bays

A shuttered restaurant that has gone through multiple name changes over the past several years will have another new name come the end of June when its new owner opens it as the Hampton Lady Beach Bar and Grill.

Last week, James Foley, owner of the four-year-old Hampton Lady Fishing Charter, purchased 363 Dune Rd. in Hampton Bays, and he said he plans to transform it a restaurant that will keep locals, as well as his charter clients coming back for more.
