5 Places to Buy Holiday Wrapping Paper

There never seems to be enoughs rolls in the house to get everything wrapped.

For those who've already made their lists, checked them twice, and ticked off the names of all the people they've bought presents for, there are plenty of places around Southampton where they can buy wrapping paper. Just don't run out of tape.

• The Ideal Stationery in Sag Harbor is stationery store with plenty of choices. It's also a convenient place to stop when you're shopping by foot in the village. They've got a large selection of tissue paper with holiday patterns, stickers, ribbons, rolls of wrap, a whole holiday section.

Alice B King Fine Stationery and Gifts in Bridgehampton doesn't have holiday-themed wrapping paper per se, but it does have solid colors, including red and sage, from the Waste Not company, in recycled paper. Other colors, all sold by the roll, are fuchsia, chartreuse, pool (light blue), moss, khaki, papaya, light pink, and a vellum with a vine leaf pattern. Holiday greeting cards, gift tags, and place cards are also available.

Kmart in Bridgehampton has affordable paper that can be purchased in bulk — most often combination packs of rolls in a variety of seasonal patterns as well as packages of flat sheets, again with lots of variety. Tags, tape, cards, and ribbon are also sold here.

Also in Sag Harbor is the Wharf Shop, which specializes in children's toys but has wrapping paper that would suit both children and adults. Bows and tissue paper can also be found here, not to mention gifts and stocking stuffers. And yes, the store will be open on Christmas Eve.

The Sag Harbor Variety Store traditionally has wrapping paper, bows, Christmas decor, lights and replacement bulbs, and much more over the holiday season. Just don't get lost in the craft-supply aisles — all that pretty red felt, spun white cotton, and styrofoam balls might get you off on another tangent.
