10 Places to Grab a Drink with Your Old High School Friends

Just before the holidays is a great time to kick back and have a toast or two with old friends.

These local restaurants and hot spots offer a range from cozy to trendy. You and your friends will be sure to find a place to match your style.

1. At raise a glass of their Montauk Light, Southampton Lager or to toast old friends. Stop by for Happy Hour Monday through Friday from 4 to 7 p.m.

2. Want to meet friends in town after a morning of Christmas shopping? You'll feel just as though you stopped in at a local French bistro in Paris, when you and your friends sit down at to savor a pre-lunch drink. You'll want to stay to sample their menu. Open for lunch, Thursday through Sunday.

3. In Water Mill, rendezvous with your high school pals at aquatic bar and lounge where you can enjoy their self-styled "small bites" over a glass of wine or beer. Open Thursday to Sunday from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Find them at 760 Montauk Highway in the Water Mill Commons. 

4. For a cheerful pub-like feel, come over to at 76C Jobs Lane in Southampton. Sit back and catch up with your friends over a beer and good pub food. You'll love the relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

5. Looking for something classic yet trendy? Try M & E Contemporary Tapas in Bridgehampton. They have a wide selection of wines by the glass or bottle, in addition to exciting lunch and dinner menus. Happy Hour from 5-7, with two for one tapas Sunday to Thursday.

6. The winter nightlife in Southampton doesn't get any better than at this Main Street hotspot.  has daily Happy Hour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., featuring drinks for half price and a selection of hors d'oeuvres.  On Fridays and Saturdays, a club-like atmosphere kicks in when they stay open to 4 a.m. 

7. The on Hampton Road in Southampton Village has a fantastic wine list, a delicious menu and just the right combination of casual and elegant to make you and your friends feel right at home.

8. Try at on Main Street in Southampton Village for a relaxed feel and tasty bar food, pizzas, hamburgers and much more to go along with your drinks. They're open seven days.

9. A great spot for tapas is in Bridgehampton. Featuring weekday Happy Hour specials, a wrap around zinc bar, live music, and more than 4o wines available by the glass, you and your friends may have found the ideal place to make a few new memories.

10. in East Hampton is a cozy spot to meet friends, shoot a game of pool and enjoy tavern style fare. The bar is open late, so you'll have plenty of time to catch up.
