Bridgehampton Head Start had a great opening week welcoming returning friends as well as first timers to school.
The theme of the week was discovery as the children explored and experienced all that the classrooms had to offer.
It may be our proximity to the Pollock Krasner House, but there is no doubt that we have many a little artist expressing their feelings at the easel. Then there is Ricky, in the classroom 2 block center, channeling his inner Frank Lloyd Wright and designing a structure we've named "Falling Blocks."
There is something so magical about seeing the amazing transition that takes place with the return of our children and families. The rooms fill with color, projects, music and laughter and everyone leaves in the afternoon a little inspired and really excited to come back the next day.
