Public Meeting on East hampton Airport FAA Funding

Important Public Meeting on East Hampton Airport  and FAA Funding that could impact residents for 20 years.

Anyone bothered by noise from helicopters and other aircraft should mark their calendars for 7.00 p.m. December 1st. The public meeting to be held that evening will be the very last opportunity for the public to be
heard before East Hampton Town Board votes to accept new F.A.A. funds. If the town accepts that funding, it will pave the way for expansion plans already approved by the F.A.A. and lock out possibility of local control over the airport--which could allow the airport to impose curfews, and limit the type and size of aircraft using the airport--and bind the town to F.A.A. rules and regulations for 20 years. If this issue is important to you, this meeting will be your last chance to make your voice heard. Mark the date, Thursday, December 1st, 7.00 p.m., East Hampton Town Hall, 159 Pantigo Road, off Rte 27, East Hampton. For more information, email info@quietskiescoalition.org
