I welcomed 10th grader Jake Ruehl and 11th grader Thomas (Tiger) Britt from Pierson High School to the Assembly Chamber in Albany on Monday, April 15, 2013. These students were selected to attend 13th annual Students Inside Albany (SIA) Conference sponsored by the League of Women Voters of New York State Education Foundation, Inc. The SIA Conference brings together students from across the State to learn about New York State Government and how citizen participation influences the public policy process.
