Give Blood, Save a Life, and Get Two Free Mets Tickets
Give the gift of life August 10th at the Center Moriches Fire Department and receive two tickets to a Mets game.
Please join me as I team up with Long Island Blood Services and the Center Moriches Fire Department to hold a blood drive on August 10th from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Center Moriches Fire Department located at 301 Main Street in Center Moriches.
Donations are lowest during summer months, but the demand still runs high. It is important that every eligible donor give the gift of life.
Blood donors must be between the ages of 17 to 76, weigh at least 110 pounds, be in good health, and not have donated blood within the last 56 days. In New York State you can donate blood at age 16 with written parental consent. People age 76 and over can donate blood if they present a physicians letter.
