On March 5, local high school students performed with the Suffolk County Music Educators’ Association (SCMEA) All-County Instrumental and Vocal Jazz Ensembles in Albany to celebrate the 41st annual "Music In Our School Month" sponsored by the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA).
Student performers from the 1st Assembly District include (as scene in picture from left to right): Nick Terlato of William Floyd School District on Tenor Voice, Yori Johnson of East Hampton School District on Bass Voice, Tina Kellman of Eastport-South Manor School District on Alto Voice, Sara Hartman of Sag Harbor School District on Alto Voice, and Luke Jurew of Westhampton Beach School District on Alternate Guitar (not pictured).
