Plum Hamptons Nominated for New York Emmy
Nick Leighton's weekly news magazine gets nod.
Plum Hamptons, the East End television station that is part of the Plum-TV network, received a nomination for a prestigious award on Wednesday.
The New York Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced during a nomination ceremony at the CUNY-TV studios in Manhattan that Plum is in the running for a local Emmy.
The nod comes in the "Arts: Program/Special" category for the segment "Craftsmanship" on "Plum Nation," a weekly news magazine hosted and produced by Nick Leighton and broadcast April 2, 2012.

The 56th Annual New York Emmy Awards will be held in Times Square on April 24, when the winner will be revealed.
