'On the Air at Guild Hall' Friday Will Benefit Public Radio

Concert in East Hampton showcases local solo artists and bands with raising money for WPPB 88.3 FM.

Sponsored by Crossroads Music and MonkMusic Studios, on Friday night local musicians will perform at Guild Hall in East Hampton to benefit both the nonprofit Guild Hall and East End public radio station WPPB 88.3 FM.

The second annual benefit, "On the Air at Guild Hall," begins at 7 p.m., featuring The Kerry Kearney Band, Black & Sparrow, Miles to Dayton, The Black Petals, The K-O-S Band, The Ross Brazilian Jazz Band, The Jet Set Renegades, Darcey, Glenn Feit, Michael Pour, Dick Johansson, Alfredo Merat  and Adam Baranello with the A&G Dance Company.  Corky Laing of rock band Mountain will perform as a special guest, and Randolph Hudson III directs a house band including Paul Gene, Abbey Levin, Jack Marshall, Paul Chapin and Klyph Black.

Grammy Award-winning recording engineer Cynthia Daniels hosts, along with local radio personalities.

The concert will be recorded for later broadcast on 88.3 FM.

General admission is $20. The price for Guild Hall members is $18, and students with ID may attend for $10.
