Local Students Perform at Carnegie Hall

Area students had the distinction of performing April 29 at Carnegie Hall for the New York Pops' 30th Birthday Gala.

More than 500 children between the ages of 12 and 16 auditioned during an open call and of the 56 who were chosen for the Camp Broadway Kids performance, six were from eastern Long Island.

The area students were Jack Vicari, of Remsenburg, Jacqueline Minogue, of Southampton, Madeline Seitles, of East Moriches, and Meghan Renna, of Speonk, Sarah Pierson, of, Southampton, and
Allura Leggard, of Sag Harbor.
