Local Bands Play at Cabana Fever Sunday at Neptune Beach Club

Cabana Fever, the summer counterpart to the winter Cabin Fever Music Festival, is this weekend.

Cabana Fever returns on Sunday, with the annual event taking over Neptune Beach Club with performances by local independent bands.

"This year we are featuring seven live acts, including Haunted Hacienda, Planeside, Dune Local, Dub Steady, The Tweekers, Houses with Hallways, and Whyte Toast featuring Bear Necessities," organizer Brendon Henry said.

During winters, Henry organizes the Cabin Fever Music Festival, with live bands at pubs across Southampton Town. Many of the same bands will be at Cabana Fever on Sunday.

White Toast, The Tweekers and Dune Local are from Hampton Bays, Houses With Hallways is based in Southampton, Haunted Hacienda and Dub Steady are from Center Moriches, and Planeside hails from New England, Henry said.

Doors open at noon. The first band hits the stage at 1 p.m. The cover is $10 and there will be drink specials and food by North 1 Steakhouse.

Neptune Beach Club is located at 70 Dune Road, East Quogue.
