Graffiti6 Leads Off Day 2 at Escape to NY

British band stirs up the crowd.

English alt-rock band Graffiti6 started day two of off with a high-energy performance that drew the bulk of festival-goers from the other attractions to the main stage. Singer/songwriter Jamie Scott told the crowd that Graffitti6, a duo which consists of him and U.K. producer TommyD, first came to America in October, when one of his songs was used on an episode of “Grey’s Anatomy.” He credited that with bringing Graffiti6 to Escape to New York as well. He said Graffiti6’s first single to be released in the U.S., “Free,” drops this coming October.

Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros take the stage at 9:20 p.m. Tickets are $30 after 5 p.m., and can be purchased at , where a shuttle bus will transport ticket-holders to the reservation.
