The Art of Photography in the Digital Age

Teens can bring their cameras, photographs, and questions to the The Art of Photography in the Digital Age workshop. They'll be using Photoshop, so you can also bring flash sticks or CD to save their "professionalized" photos. Pre-registration is required.

The workshop coincides with a teen photo contest, going on until Dec. 15. The theme is "This is My World." Up to two photos about what you love most about being a teen in Southampton can be submitted. Email your photo, along with your name, phone number, and the type of camera used to teens@myrml.org. According to the library, "Submissions must be recent, original photos that are appropriate for viewing in a library setting. All who enter will receive one hour of community service." All entries must be received by Dec. 15.  Winners will be announced at the Teen Movie Matinee on Dec. 28.
