Southampton Publick House Oktoberfest Press Release

 

   Grab your Lederhosen, feather hats, and Polka shoes for a night celebrating the greatest German beer festival at the Southampton Publick House! On Friday, September 28 come out to 40 Bowden Square for an evening of live Polka and German music by Keyboard Charly Nutturno and AM Radio, entertainment and dancing by the Our Fabulous Variety Show Players, and the tapping of the 2012 Oktoberfest Lager. No cover charge for this event, just come and enjoy the authentic German menu in the dining room, bratwurst and pretzels in the Biergarten, and get your commemorative 2012 Oktoberfest beer steins filled with their first pint for free!

   The first 50 guests to arrive will receive a free Oktoberfest 2012 tee shirt. Come dressed in your Oktoberfest best and win four free tickets to the upcoming Holiday Variety Show presented by Our Fabulous Variety Show on November 29-December 2. Compete in the yodeling contest to win a $100 gift card to the Publick House or prove your Polka prowess and win a voucher for a case of Pumpkin Ale!

   Proceeds from the raffle during the event go to benefit productions of Our Fabulous Variety Show, a local theater troupe that donates proceeds to local non-profit organizations.
