Jeanine De Bique, soprano, at Old Whalers' Church

Soprano Jeanine De Bique continues the Young Concert Artists Series at Old Whalers' with a program of songs by Ravel, Wolf and others, plus traditional American spirituals. Ms. De Bique won the 2010 Arleen Auger Prize as well as numerous other vocal competitions, including that of the National Association for Negro Singers. She will be accompanied by Keun-A Lee, a member of the Metropolitan Opera's Lindemann Young Artist Development Program. A reception to meet the artists will follow the performance. Tickets $35 & $25 (senior/student). Buy online, at the door, or reserve by phone. Proceeds benefit the Community House Fund at Old Whalers', established to improve and maintain the facilities used by many community groups that serve several hundred people each week. Contributions to the Community House Fund are tax-deductible.
