NOW SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY, SEPT. 3: Russian pianist Gleb Ivanov, called "a young super-virtuoso" by the New York Times, will conclude the Young Concert Artists series at Old Whalers' Church. The program will include Haydn's Sonata in C major, a Schubert sonata, and pieces by Lizst and Rachmaninoff. A reception to meet the artist will follow the performance. A protégé of the cellist Mstislav Rostropovich, Mr. Ivanov has been likened by several reviewers to the great Vladimir Horowitz. Tickets online or at the door, or reserve by telephone. The performance benefits the Community House Fund at Old Whalers', established to maintain areas of the building used by many community-service groups, and to ensure the continuation of their services.
