Free Community Resource Fair

The Tuckahoe School will host a free Community Resource Fair with presentations, information and activities. Cholesterol screenings will be available from Southampton Hospital's Wellness Center. There will also be vision screening, blood pressure checks, height, weight and body mass inde, nutrition and gardening information by the Cornell Cooperative Extension. Other groups that will be represented will be the Flying Point Foundation for Autism, Fighting Chance, the Alzheimer's Association, Head Start, American Heart Association, Hola, FYS, Southampton Fire Department, the Loss Group, Southampton Town Women's Advocacy Program and more.

There will also be special presentation. At 9 a.m., the Wellness Institute at Southampton Hospital will discuss Nutrition and Wellness. At noon, the Luss Group will present information on Medicare and Insurance information with special guest speaker Dr. Alex Aponte. In addition there will be karate, chair yoga, tai chi, reiki and cooking demonstrations. See flier for more information.
