Drawing on her conversations with such figures as Eleanor Antin, Chuck Arnoldi, Larry Bell, Billy Al Bengston, Vija Celmins, Judy Chicago, Mark di Suvero, Henry Hopkins, Allen Kaprow, Arlene Raven, and many others, Levin will discuss the artistic context of 1960s Los Angeles and how it gave rise to feminist art.
