Colin Quinn's Off-Broadway Show Comes to Bay Street

Former "Saturday Night Live" Star presents "Unconstitutional."

Originally, theatergoers could only catch comedian Colin Quinn's one-man show in Manhattan off-Broadway, but this weekend the former "Weekend Update" anchor is bringing "Unconstitutional" to Sag Harbor.

In the show, Quinn presents his take on America's national character. "From predator drones to the Kardashians, he pulls no punches in asking if this is what the founding fathers planned," the show website states.

The New York Times called the show, “A pleasingly funny amble through American history. Mr. Quinn has always been a little ahead of the curve.”

After "Saturday Night Live," he hosted comedy-commentary program "Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn" on Comedy Central. His Broadway show "Long Story Short," directed by Jerry Seinfeld, won an Emmy for its airing on HBO. He also performed "Long Story Short" at Guild Hall in East Hampton.

"Colin Quinn Unconstitutional" begins at 8 p.m. Saturday.

General admission is $69. Bay Street members pay $62. Call 631-725-9500, drop by the box office, open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to showtime, or buy tickets online at www.baystreet.org.
