"It's about missing someone during the holidays," Doctorow writes on her Facebook page. "Sometimes, surprisingly, sad songs make us feel so good."
The folk musician is a fixture of the East End music scene, and the host of a radio show on WPKN.
A resident of Bridgehampton, Doctorow is the daughter of author E.L. Doctorow.
