Bay Street Theatre's Rock The Dock Summer Bash Returns July 20

Bay Street Theatre's largest fundraising event of the season will be held July 20 hosted by Susan Lucci, the star of television shows "All My Children," "Devious Maids" and "Deadly Affairs."

"I am thrilled to be hosting this year's event," Lucci said in a statement. "I have been coming to Bay Street for many years and am so looking forward to the gala and this upcoming season."

The night will begin at 6:30 with appetizers and cocktails served on Sag Harbor's Long Wharf. Apart from dinner and dancing, there will also be a series of live auctions featuring items like a stay at the Four Seasons Costa Rica, VIP tickets to "Live with Kelly and Michael" plus a backstage meet and greet, and a Las Vegas package that includes a backstage meeting with Jerry Seinfeld after his show and Donny and Marie Osmond after their show. BMW of Southampton will also be raffling off a 2013 convertible Mini.

The money raised by the Rock the Dock gala will go toward Bay Street's summer theater program including the current "Mystery of Irma Vep" (running through July 28) and "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" (in September). Funding also goes toward educational outreach initiatives including Literature Live!, summer college internships and theater camps and classes for kids.

Tickets for the full event are $550 per person and VIP tables are available, though this year a $150 "Dinner, Dessert & Dancing" ticket is being offered for people who wish to come from 9 to 11 p.m. followed by the after party at B. Smith's.

Tim Kofahl, the director of marketing at Bay Street, called the event, "a great way to come out and have fun and support the Bay Street Theatre."
