A server at the Driver's Seat in Southampton was recently diagnosed with Hepatitis A, possibly exposing patrons to the virus and prompting a health department investigation, the county said on Thursday afternoon.

3. Riders with Disabilities Take Spotlight at Hampton Classic

On Monday, the Hampton Classic Horse Show hosted the final horse show in a series for riders with disabilities. The Long Island Horse Show Series for Riders with Disabilities, for riders in three divisions, has three new champions. 

4. Road Dedicated to Honor Nun Killed in Hit-and-Run

Signs that read "Sister Jackie's Way" were recently installed on both ends of Rose Hill Road — one on the corner of Montauk Highway and another at the South Halsey Lane intersection. 

5. Bay Street Kicks Off $300K Challenge Grant

Bay Street Theatre announced Friday that an anonymous donor promised a gift of $300,000 as part of a matching funds campaign. The gift was in response to Bay Street’s announcement that Scott Schwartz will be the new Artistic Director for the 2014 season, the Sag Harbor theater said in a statement.
