Southampton Pet of the Week: Sweetpea Came From a Hoarder's House

The Southampton Animal Shelter has some loving pets for adoption.

This week, the Southampton Animal Shelter is looking to find a home for Sweetpea, a 1-year-old calico, who came from a hoarder's house with 36 cats.

The shelter said she is she certainly knows how to share.

Sweetpea's adoption fee is being waived as is the fee for any other cat adopted at the shelter through the month of September.

All animals are licensed, up to date on their vaccinations, micro-chipped and have been spayed or neutered. Adoption fees typically range from $40 to $60 for a cat and from $60 to $125 for a dog.

To adopt Seatpea or any of the other animals available for adoption, call the shelter at 631-728-7387 or visit 102 Old Riverhead Road in Hampton Bays.
