Southampton Chamber Collects Goods for Hurricane Relief in Long Beach

Winter clothing, nonperishable food and more needed.

To aid the victims of Hurricane Sandy in Long Beach, the Southampton Chamber of Commerce is gathering donations now through Nov. 12.

"As the winter approaches, we are collecting gently used cold-weather clothing for adults and children: winter coats, sweaters, and shoes of all sizes. Immediate needs are non-perishable food items, garbage bags, rubber gloves and baby wipes," Executive Director Karen Connolly wrote.

Items may be dropped off at the chamber office on Main Street in Southampton Village.
