Sign Up: The Great East End Clean-Up

The clean-up is scheduled for April 20 and April 21.

Southampton Town is gearing up for the annual Great East End Clean-Up, which will take place on Saturday, April 20, and Sunday, April 21.

The town is calling for all those wishing to participate to sign up online by April 15. Those who register will be able to pick up garbage bags, pick-up sticks and passes to the town's four transfer stations prior to the clean-up event.

Last April, 900 participants collected 41.8 tons of garbage and this year's haul is expected to be larger with Superstorm Sandy leaving behind debris from across the ocean.
