Saturday: Peek Behind the Hedges with ARF

Annual garden tour raises money for the Animal Rescue Fund while offering a glimpse into some of Southampton Village's best kept gardens.

At your leisure Saturday, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., you can walk through some of the best private gardens the Hamptons has to offer — whether you'd just like to experience the beauty or want to take ideas home for your own flower beds.

The 26th annual ARF Garden Tour benefits the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons and ARF's . Tour tickets are $75, granting access to the gardens of Ruth and Ted Baum, Maria and Bruce Bockmann, Christy and Clifford Brechner, Michael Raynes, and Perri and Eric Ruttenber, all in Southampton Village. The self-guided tour also includes a stop at the Southampton Rose Society Garden, which is in full bloom outside .

For an extra $100, guests may also attend a cocktail reception after the garden tour from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Sag Harbor home of Leni and Adam Sender.
