A year after Sandy, the storm remains much more than a memory.

The one-year anniversary of Hurricane Sandy in October was a time to reflect on a storm that devastated many parts of Long Island. It was also a chance to check in on how Long Islanders were recovering from the storm. Here's some of Patch's Sandy anniversary coverage from across the island:
