About 400 people took part in the annual plunge.

About 400 people took part in the 10th annual Polar Bear Plunge at Coopers Beach on Saturday, a snowy, frigid day in Southampton Village. Plungers braved air temps of 27 degrees and a water temperature of 40 degrees. The plunge raises funds for the Human Resources of the Hamptons' food pantry, which feeds 350 local families.
