Photos: Great Chefs Dinner Benefits Hayground School

Renowned chefs from the Hamptons and farther afield present their fare.

The ninth annual Great Chefs Dinner to benefit Jeff's Kitchen and the Jeff Salaway Scholarship Fund at the Hayground School in Bridgehampton was held Sunday on the school grounds, attracting celebrity guests including Alec and Hilaria Baldwin and film director Barry Sonnenfeld and renowned chefs.

Among the chefs participating were Tom Colicchio and Ty Kotz of Topping Rose House, Bryan Futerman of Foody’s, Joel Hough of Il Buco, Jason Weiner of Almond, Joe Realmuto and Jessica Craig of Nick & Toni's, Lia Fallon of The Riverhead Project, and Christian Mir of Stone Creek Inn.

The benefit is a tribute to the late Jeff Salaway, a widely respected and beloved restaurateur and one of the school’s co-founders, according to Hayground School.  Since its inception, this event has raised over $1,000,000 for Jeff’s Kitchen and the Jeff Salaway Scholarship Fund.

“Jeff believed that the growing, preparation and sharing of food is a primal human experience and the foundation of family and community,” said Salaway's widow Toni Ross.

Following the cocktail party, there was a VIP wine dinner at Ross' home honoring Chef Eric Ripert.
