Hampton Designer Showhouse Opens Sunday

Now in its 13th year, the showhouse typically raises $125,000 for Southampton Hospital.

The 2013 Hampton Designer Showhouse, which once again benefits Southampton Hospital, will open its doors on Sunday, with a gala preview taking place on Saturday.

The house, located at 990 Brick Kiln Road in Bridgehampton, showcases the talents of thirty top designers. Run by the Hampton Designer Showhouse Foundation, this is the 13th house showcased. It raises about $125,000 each year for the hospital.

Presented by Traditional Home magazine and LX.TV Open House, Mario Buatta, a leading decorator, is the honorary showhouse chairman. “This incredible project is not only a premier showcase for innovative design ideas from some of the top talent in the industry—but more importantly—raises critical funds to support Southampton Hospital," said Ann Maine, Editor in Chief of Traditional Home magazine.  

Designers Jamie Drake and Alexa Hampton are the honorary design co-chairmen.

This year's contributors include, Alan Court & AssociatesBarbara Ostrom AssociatesBarbara Page HomeJack Levy Design LLC, Kemble InteriorsMark Humphrey GalleryPatricia Fisher Design, and Worth Interiors among many others.

The gala preview party will be held Saturday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $225.

The house will be opened seven days a week from Sunday through Sept. 2, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $35 and includes a journal. Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance.
