Get Out Guide: Spring Fling, Fashion Show and Glow in the Dark Night

Top suggestions on where to spend your weekend.

The “Get Out” guide includes events for individuals and for the whole family. This week, kids can have fun at Glow in the Dark Night and adults can take in the new season with the Spring Fling event at the Parrish Art Museum. There is something for everyone, so check it out:

Where/When: , Friday, 7:30 to 10 p.m.
Why Go:
Join the fun and wear your brightest colors to play dodgeball, laser tag and basketball, all while you listen to music. Open to all who are in sixth grade and above.

Where/When: , Saturday, 9 a.m to noon
Why Go:
Come enjoy Dickinson’s poetry along with a cake made with her own special recipe. The first hour will include an introduction to the readings by local community leaders.

Where/When: , Saturday, 10 a.m. to noon
Why Go:
A good time to bring your 7- to 9-year-olds to the museum to keep them occupied with Legos while the younger children enjoy the museum.

Why Go:
Tammy Nuzzo-Morgan will give readings to introduce the spring season.

$5 donation, reservations requested.

 Where/When: Bridgehampton Historical Society in Marder’s Barn next to the Nathaniel Rogers House, 2539a Montauk Highway, Bridgehampton, Saturday, 2 p.m.
Why Go:
Brook Campbell plays her own original music as she travels up and down the East Coast.
Pricing:
$10, or $5 for museum members, which can be paid at the door. Children under 12 are free. Reservations are required.

Why Go:
Watch a stage reading entirely in Spanish that is set in 1936 Spain on the day of a funeral.

$10, advanced tickets only

Why Go:
As part of the , Viktor Valkov, a 2009-2010 Pianofest Participant, will perform Beethoven, Frank Liszt and more.

 Where/When: , Saturday, 7:30 to 10 p.m.
Why Go:
This springtime party will come fully stocked with live music by Todd Barrie, hor d’oeuvres donated by Sant Ambroeus, a silent auction, an open bar with ales, Glacier Potato Vodka, and Niche Import Company.
Pricing: 
$150 in advance, or $100 for members. All tickets at the door are $175.

Where/When: Parrish Memorial Hall, 24 Meeting House Lane, Southampton, Sunday, noon to 4 p.m.
Why Go:
Go to support the Heaven Can Wait team during their spring sale. The sale will feature yarn needles, sewing, craft material, books, magazines and other items.

Why Go:
will hold a J. McLaughlin fashion show along with a ladies luncheon and a Chinese Auction.
